Leadership in Public Service: We’re all in this together.

Date(s) - 15/04/2021
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The COVID-19 pandemic has placed leadership in the spotlight. All of us watch, in real time, as leaders make decisions with the best evidence available, weighing the consequences in light of their personal values and institutional priorities. Our decision-makers work in ambiguity and so must change the script when new information becomes available. They disagree. Meanwhile, the public is desperate for clarity. Dr. Deena Hinshaw has been at the forefront of this experience, as the leading voice for the public health of Albertans. The Peter Lougheed Leadership College invites you to hear Dr. Hinshaw’s reflections on the challenges, triumphs, disappointments and lessons learned from this extraordinary season of pandemia. Hosted in partnership with the School of Public Health.
