Did you know that wearing your clothes for longer is the most impactful way to reduce fashion’s carbon footprint? But sometimes, in order to wear your clothes for longer, they need to be repaired or altered a little. Join us at the Human Ecology Clothing Repair Café to do just that!

This community-based skill-sharing event is for anyone interested in:

  • Practicing sustainability
  • Saving beloved clothing items from the landfill
  • Expressing creativity through visible mending

Bring your clothing items that are in need of repair and we’ll provide the advice, tools and caffeine to help you on your way to learning how to mend your own clothes!

Space and supplies are limited, so register now to reserve your spot: Learn more and register

The Human Ecology Clothing Repair Café is run by the Human Ecology Department and funded by the Campus Sustainability Grant.
