ALES faculty, staff and researchers are invited to a virtual media relations training session where we will delve into the mysteries of media engagement and explore the benefits of positive media relations. In this session, we will discuss the importance of translating knowledge in a way that everyday audiences can appreciate and understand, with an aim of helping you share your research with the world in a meaningful and impactful way. We will cover a range of topics including what makes a story newsworthy, practical considerations of how media operate, prepping for an interview, and techniques to keep an interview on track.
