ALES Festival of Experiential Learning
Introducing the Frank Robinson Youth Academy for Nature, the Environment and Feeding the World
Be our guest as we celebrate the power of learning with dirty hands.
Please join us to celebrate inspiring stories from kindergarten through to post-secondary students made possible by the Frank Robinson Youth Academy (FRYA) in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences. Hear from students and educators about their hands-on experiences in agriculture, food and environment this last year. As our partner in teaching through experiential learning, we invite you to celebrate and learn more about what’s to come.
Date: April 18, 2024
Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Coffee and light refreshments available at 8:30)
Location: Maple Room, Lister Centre
Join us for a celebratory announcement followed by short presentations on experiential learning from different perspectives, including:

• Examples of animal science education for junior and high school students
